David Robbins
David has appeared in court as junior counsel at the Supreme Court of BC and the BC Court of Appeal in the following cases:
- William v. Riverside (February 21, 2002), Vancouver Registry Nos. CA 029284, CA29285, CA 029289, and CA 029290 (BCCA) with Joseph J. Arvay, Q.C.;
- William v. Riverside, 2001 BCSC 1641, with Joseph J. Arvay, Q.C.;
- Tatoosh v. Sayers, 2001 BCSC 699.
David has acted as solicitor for First Nation clients with respect to band economic development and corporate structures, on-reserve housing and land use issues, strategic negotiation, consultation and litigation regarding aboriginal and treaty rights, and specific claims preparation.
David graduated from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law in August 1999. He clerked at the BCSC until September 1st, 2000, when he came to article with Woodward & Company. He was called to the bar of British Columbia in March, 2001.

- "Aboriginal Custom, Copyright and the Canadian Constitution", part of materials for conference Protecting Knowledge: Traditional Resource Rights in the New Millenium (February 2000), hosted by the Union of BC Indian Chiefs with support from the Law Foundation of British Columbia and the Legal Services Society of BC.
- Guest lecturer on understanding the BC treaty process to a Grade 10 law class, Courtenay, BC
- Guest Lecturer on March 16, 2001 and February 6th, 2002, for the course, "Indian Lands and Government" at the University of Victoria Faculty of Law.
