Profile

Shaunagh was called to the BC Bar in March 2009 and the Yukon Bar in September 2011. Shaunagh has a BA (honours) in Womens Studies and Political Science (McGill University), with an emphasis on international development. Shaunagh received her LL.B. at the University of Victoria, where she focused on aboriginal law, human rights and constitutional law. Shaunagh is bilingual in English and French.

After graduating from law school, Shaunagh clerked for justices of the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Shaunagh articled with the Department of Justice in Vancouver, and acted as counsel conducting tax litigation until joining Woodward and Company.

Shaunagh recently moved to Whitehorse with her husband, two kids and dog, and is enamored with Yukon life. Shaunagh grew up in Ottawa, but has lived in Quebec, Alberta, British Columbia, Ghana and the UK.
