Eamon Murphy*


As co-managing partner of the firm, Eamon acts as general counsel for several First Nations and his practice includes Aboriginal title litigation, oil and gas regulatory hearings, and intervenor and appellate court work.

Eamon graduated from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law in 1997 and was first called to the British Columbia Bar in 1999, then to the bar in Manitoba in 2000. In 2016, he was called to the bar of the Upper Canada Law Society (Ontario).

Eamon’s current role sees him act for clients throughout Canada. He has appeared as counsel in the courts of British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, the Federal Court, and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Eamon contributes annually to the CLE publication “Due Diligence Deskbook”, and was the former managing editor of Native Law. He’s been a speaker at a wide variety of conferences, including the 2014 “World Summit on Indigenous Philanthropy” hosted by International Funders for Indigenous Peoples in New York City.
