On-reserve housing is complex, intersecting with lands, finance, estates, social assistance and family law. It profoundly impacts the health and well-being of Indigenous communities. We take a holistic approach to housing, working with Council and administration (including Housing, Lands, Finance and Social Development departments) to develop policies and other tools to support best practices, resolve disputes and, most importantly, help Indigenous governments deliver safe, affordable housing to their members.
