Tolu’s keen interest in supporting social justice causes is one of the driving forces behind her work as a legal assistant at Woodward and Company. Through her initiative and effective collaboration with other assistants, she provides support to the firm’s lawyers and ensures administrative tasks are done efficiently.
Prior to joining the firm, Tolu studied law in Nigeria before moving to Victoria to attend graduate school. Her strong interpersonal skills bolster her impact both within the firm and in her capacity as a volunteer at Restorative Justice Victoria.
Tolu loves making things work and is most excited when her DIY experiments – most often, in the kitchen – turn out as planned. As for the future of her career, Tolu has plans to complete the licensure process and be called to the Bar so that she can pursue her social justice interests in a larger capacity.
