As of October 19, 2015, Woodward and Company LLP offices will be in the historic former bank building at the corner of Government and Fort Streets. The law offices are on the second and third floor, with reception on the second floor.
Better known now as the Bard and Banker building, it originally opened in 1885 as the Bank of British Columbia. The iconic stone building remained a bank until 1988 under a wide array of banking establishments’ control. Of all the employees to work at this location in the 126 years that it was a bank, the most notable was the bard of the Yukon, Robert Service.
