First Nations add lands to reserve for various reasons, including improving members’ access to social development and housing ands and increasing community and economic development. We provide legal advice on all aspects of the Addition to Reserve (ATR) process from preparing the application to working with third parties and ISC to negotiate and draft agreements to address interests and encumbrances, to finalizing all of the transfer documents. We advise and assist clients with navigating the Provincial and Federal requirements of the ATR process.
