Bianca joined Woodward & Co. in 2025 as a lawyer, bringing with her a rich and diverse background in litigation, legal education, and community advocacy. Prior to joining the firm, Bianca practiced in the litigation group at a global full-service Bay Street firm in Toronto, where she focused on professional liability, commercial, corporate, and civil disputes. She also completed a secondment in-house with a global telecommunications company in their litigation group and previously articled at a Bay Street litigation boutique. Bianca’s international experience includes clerking for Justice Mhlantla at the Constitutional Court of South Africa, the supreme court of the country.

Bianca holds a JD and BCL from McGill University, where she was deeply involved in legal research, advocacy, and community outreach. She served as a research assistant in multiple disciplines, a senior editor for the McGill Journal of Law and Health, and a volunteer with legal clinics and pro bono initiatives focused on racial justice and youth rights and legal education. She also coordinated outreach programs in partnership with schools and Elders in Kahnawà:ke.

Her academic background includes an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences from Western University (Dean’s Honour List, top 5%) and a Master of Science in Global Health from McMaster and Maastricht Universities, supported by the Ontario Graduate Scholarship. Bianca was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.

Bianca is an Executive Member of the Group of Racialized Ontario Women Litigators (GROWL) and Ontario Bar Association’s Sexual and Gender Diversity Alliance Section (SAGDA); a founding organizer of PRISME: Canada’s annual 2SLGBTQ+ law conference, and a board member of CALL/ACAL. She also volunteers with the 519 Community Centre as a pro bono lawyer and BIPOC legal information program coordinator.

Her published work in journal articles and a book chapter spans topics such as the biomedicalization of trauma in Residential School Survivors, public health and criminal law intersections, Black economic empowerment, and experiential legal education.

As an Indian settlor residing in Treaty 13 territory, Bianca is committed to Indigenous rights, transformative justice, and the revitalization of Indigenous law. She is bilingual in French, speaks Spanish and is learning Hindi. Bianca brings both global and community-rooted perspectives to her legal practice.
