Sasha Williams

Sasha, a legal assistant at Woodward and Company, brings a strong background in social work counselling and paralegal work to her current role, within which she’s deeply committed to providing clients with the highest quality of work possible.

Though she now lives on the island, Sasha grew up in Toronto and spent time living in Calgary. She attended Humber College’s Social Service Worker program and graduated with honours, furthering her education at York University where she earned a Bachelor of Social Work. She then went back to attend Humber College again, this time as a student in the Law Clerk program, from which she graduated with honours.

Her social work role saw her providing meaningful support to marginalized women and children. From there, she pivoted her career towards law and began working as a legal assistant and law clerk/paralegal specializing in patents for national and international firms. A diligent and eager member of the team, her current position at Woodward and Company centers around the creation and maintenance of corporations, and assisting in the day to day needs of the firm’s corporate lawyers with solicitor work.

Outside of work, Sasha is interested in camping, hiking, gardening, intersectional feminism, anti-oppression, and most importantly, patio season. One day, she’d like to have a large farm or acreage where she can adopt all – yes, every single one – of the abandoned and neglected animals in the world.
