Maxine DaCosta joined Woodward & Co. as a Legal Assistant in 2026, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the legal industry, including 20 years as a document specialist. Her extensive background has given her a strong foundation for supporting our busy W&Co. team and adapting to the varied needs that arise from day to day.

In her role at W&Co., Maxine supports her team wherever needed and enjoys the variety that comes with a workplace where no two days are quite the same. She works well both independently and collaboratively and brings a practical, team-oriented approach to her work.

Maxine holds a Bachelor of Arts from York University. She is motivated by opportunities to problem-solve, develop new technical skills, and continue growing professionally.
