Jenna Hamilton

A legal assistant at Woodward and Company, Jenna’s work is fueled by her passion for the environment, animals, and reconciliation with First Nations.

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Jenna’s love and respect for the environment started early. Knowing that she wanted to pursue a career in the legal field, Jenna obtained her Legal Assistant Diploma from SAIT Polytechnic back in 2016. She then worked for a law firm in Calgary before deciding to make the move to Vancouver Island to obtain her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Justice Studies from Royal Roads University. It is during her time at RRU that Jenna’s passion for First Nations rights and reconciliation became apparent.

Now, Jenna primarily works alongside the firm’s lawyers drafting and editing claims, cataloging historical documents, and completing administrative tasks. Her strong leadership and organizational skills benefit her in her legal assistant role, ensuring that colleagues and clients always have their needs met efficiently and effectively.

In the future, Jenna is interested in furthering her education with respect to First Nations History in Canada, and completing her Law Degree from the University of Victoria.
