Jaidin Wale has been a practicing lawyer with WW&Co. since 2024. She has extensive experience supporting individuals and organizations with capacity development related initiatives through various roles in legal clinics, government agencies, and consulting firms. She has worked in positions related to Indigenous justice, human resources, education, and administrative services, providing her with a diverse and well-rounded background. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Victoria (2012) and a Juris Doctor with a Specialization in Aboriginal Law from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC (2022). Additionally, she earned a Master’s Degree in International Human Resources Management from the Université de Rennes IGR IAE School of Management (2016).
As a member of the Gitanmaax Band of the Gitxsan Nation, Jaidin is deeply committed to supporting First Nations in their pursuit of self-determination. Her practice is grounded in the principles of respect, reciprocity, and collaboration, aiming to provide legal services that are both practical and culturally informed.
Outside of her professional life, Jaidin enjoys spending time outdoors, whether in the trees or by the ocean. She has lived in three Canadian provinces, spent several years in France, and has traveled extensively across Europe, Turkey, Israel, and Palestine. Jaidin also plays on the Gitksan Women’s basketball team, competing in the annual All Native Tournament in Prince Rupert, and speaks French with DALF C1 proficiency. Most importantly, Jaidin is a devoted auntie to her niece and nephew who keep her grounded and laughing.
