Harmony joined Woodward & Co. as a Lawyer in 2025, where she focuses on supporting Indigenous governments in exercising their inherent right to self-governance. Her practice includes governance support, First Nation constitutions, laws and policy, taxation and fiscal management, land codes, land interests, contaminated sites, and housing. Harmony brings a systems-oriented approach to legal problem-solving, ensuring pragmatic and collaborative solutions for clients.
Before joining Woodward & Co., Harmony spent 13 years working in local government at the regional level, gaining extensive experience in policy and bylaw development, environmental program administration, project management, strategic planning, and communications. She holds a Juris Doctor (Co-op) from the University of Victoria, where she participated in field schools focused on revitalizing Indigenous laws and legal orders, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Northern British Columbia. Harmony also earned a Certificate in Applied Project Management from Camosun College.
Harmony’s commitment to advancing Indigenous rights is reflected in her work developing bylaw reform toolkits, supporting land code implementation, and co-hosting workshops on the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. She is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association. Her dedication has been recognized with the Law Foundation of BC Public Interest Award and the Grant Anderson Commemorative Scholarship.
Originally from the traditional territories of Lheidli T’enneh and Nak’azdli Whuten Nations, Harmony now lives and works as a guest on unceded Quw’utsun lands. Outside of work, she enjoys sailing adventures with her husband, long walks with their rescue pup Scout, gardening, and visiting local farmers’ markets. She is actively pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration and has volunteered in leadership roles with Coast Waste Management Association, Level Justice, and Pro Bono Students Society.
