Amelia Clarke Hubner joined Woodward & Co in 2025 as a File Clerk. She supports the lawyers and legal assistants with filing projects, document management, and research tasks. She primarily works with the Section 35 practice group, where she enjoys seeing her personal interests reflected in her professional contributions. Amelia brings prior experience as a receptionist and file clerk in legal environments, along with a strong background working with Indigenous communities on community-based social infrastructure projects.

Amelia holds a BA in International Development Studies from McGill University, with a concentration in human rights, borders, and migration. Her capstone project focused on Indigenous land and resource rights, land title, and sovereignty.

Amelia is known for her curiosity, attention to detail, and dedication to her work. Her passion for Indigenous land rights is a key motivator in her role at Woodward & Co., where she values the opportunity to work in community and connect deeply with the firm’s mission. Bilingual in French, Amelia enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time outdoors in her spare time.
